PROPOLIS SPRAY
PROPOLIS SPRAY
In traditional medicine, propolis is used both internally and externally as an anti-inflammatory agent that helps heal wounds and various lesions and ulcers on the skin and mucous membranes. Propolis exhibits immunomodulatory, anti-tumor, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and the spray is therefore intended to soothe irritation of the mucous membranes of the throat and mouth.
Propolis is a resinous substance collected by bees from flowers, which is transformed in the presence of the enzymes produced by the bees. Unprocessed propolis consists of 30% wax, 50% resins and balms, 10% essential oils, 5% pollen, and various other substances. Its chemical composition is very complex with more than 300 components of propolis having been identified and its composition depends on the plant source from which it originates and also the local flora.
